There is a waiting area at The Portland Wellness Center for your convenience. Jessica will come out to greet you and take you to her treatment room.

In order to preserve the relaxing atmosphere of The Beauty Way, LLC, it is not recommended that your children accompany you to your service.

Unfortunately, the Oregon Health Licensing Agency restricts any animal in a cosmetology facility, except special assistance animals.

The Beauty Way, LLC, located at The Portland Wellness Center, has complimentary parking spaces for your convenience.

You will feel relaxed and your skin will be glowing after your facial treatment!

Feel free to talk if you're feeling chatty...or meditate peacefully with your own thoughts!

But don't feel obligated to do anything you don't feel comfortable with.

Sometimes the deep cleansing aspect of the facial may stir up some toxins that are beneath the surface of your skin.

The goal of a facial is to get these toxins out of your skin, so it performs at its optimum level.

Breakouts can occur as a result. This is normal.

Facials are not advised any sooner than two weeks before a special event. This is to give your skin time to heal.

It may feel like your skin is "getting worse" before it gets better.

Be patient and consistent with your facials and you will see improvement!

The Beauty Way, LLC offers both enzyme and acid peels of varying strengths. Please inquire about which Intensive Skin Care Treatment is right for your skin.

Absolutely not! Neither tanning beds nor outdoor sunbathing are recommended during the course of your treatment series.

Please wear a minimum SPF 15 sunblock on treated areas.

Failure to do so could result in permanent skin damage.

No. The use of any retinol products including Differin and Retin-A prevent you from getting waxed. Skin removal and scarring can result.

The Beauty Way, LLC will turn you away if you haven't discontinued the products for at least TWO months prior to your waxing service. 

Please understand that this is to preserve the integrity of your skin.

A bikini wax removes hair from the inner thigh to just inside the bikini line. How far in you go from the bikini line is up to you - there are no rules, it's whatever suits you and your comfort level.

A bikini wax will also keep your pubic area groomed, but it's not high maintenance.

A brazilian wax is a bikini wax plus removal of all hair from the labia to the anus. Complete removal of the hair on the pubic bone region is optional with The Beauty Way, LLC's brazilians.

Brazilians do have to be maintained more frequently.

The Beauty Way, LLC follows strict hygiene standards and, as a result, will not wax anyone during their period.
